HOPE Youth Corps (HYC) is an organisation that aims to serve lower-income communities through various outreach efforts. Some of these include building/painting/maintaining houses, helping out in orphanages and medical centres, teaching and encouraging people of all ages, along with many other helpful activities.
By giving part of our time to another region, we help to grow a wider community as well as sharing the gospel and putting Jesus' teachings into practice.
There are many HYC programmes going on all throughout the year, you can check those out at the HYC Website. However, there are 2 groups that will be helping out in Papua New Guinea in July 2016. If you are interested in this, please keep reading for more information.
